I thought peugeotsport had stopped selling 306 maxi parts, at least they have disappeared from their website.

Well it now has a working engine, makes a lovely noise and power.
A few small issues still, leaking oil which could be being blown out of the breather. Most likely the gearbox seal is bust again. I have the driveshaft oil seals, they always leak.

well, originally it was 86.5x88mm S16 block
Forged high comp wiseco pistons, arp bolts.
GTi6 head with catcams, Colin/Sandy ITBs and Emerald ECU.

The new engine I would hope has most of the previous mods, although this time the pistons are from JE.

ooooh yeah, i forgot about that, sorry!
I had a lot of difficulty getting the dash back in as there is a large cage bar going along behind the dash.

yeah. i have nothing behind the dash though, no heater or anything, no wiring, no nothing really.. looks a fair bit different than the last time you saw it i think! i can get right up behind the dash with everything in place at the moment so i think the bar might be ok, we'll see. it's never quick anyway although i have mastered getting the dash in and out so quickly it's literally 3 bulkhead bolts, steering wheel off and pull speedo forward - dash out!

nevermind, it will be getting bashed about anyway, just was sure it would catch the wiper motor so was going to relocate it or get a smaller/btcc one, should be ok though Smile
