the car is already running,0,5 bar, 0,78 wide band lambda (is it very hot round here these days) the car is very progressive, full bost around 4000 rpms and it has torque until 7200 (ignition cut) i will post a video, next week it goes to a dynojet to make a perfect chip tunning and 0,7 bar. i'm very happy, the car's behavior is exactly as i wanted |

Sweeeet!I sent pictures of your manifold to my manifold builder I like the idea of it being in two parts, to avoid having to remove the engine all the time what's next? is the engine still in one piece or did you slip on the pressure tap? the mechanic is still 100%, drag racing every day in the highways. the problem is the gearbox, it broke firt time last week, the 4th gear, but the piecs destroyed ALL the others gears. i put a everything new and was everything ok, this weekend me and my friends went to a drag event, 201 mts, just for fun some videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GKW_pglG8U&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0knNhnKr6Y&feature=related |

I'm afraid your BE gearbox wont cope with over 300bhps and will break again and againThe only reliable solution is to fit a ME gearbox from a xu10j2te engine. You'll have to make a custom gearbox mount under the turbo and make driveshafts out of ZX outer halves + 605 (or xm ...) inner halves. You'll also have to make custom gear linkage rods. Send me a PM if you want more infos about this, as this conversion has been made by at least 3 people here in France Nicolas ________________________________________ 205 gti xu10j4rsms2 extra sequential |

Awesome video's - rolls gently off the line then annilates the scoobies lead and passes it - all in third gear Is the engine stock internally or have you now upgraded to forged rods and pistons ? I know that with ethanol you can get away with higher compression ratios but is this running a spacer to drop it ? ________________________________________ Cad Monkey will work for chocolate biscuits....I'm not kidding |

I think he's running standard compression ratio (standard block)I presume in Brasil they have e100 ethanol without having any petrol in it, which helps avoiding detonations Nicolas ________________________________________ 205 gti xu10j4rsms2 extra sequential |

exactly, stock internal, 10,8:1 compression rate, running on ethanol, stock gearbox, stock fuel injection.my turbo is very big, the torque comes only at high rpms, very progressive, it helps the engine to don't explode hehehe. I really want to make a onboard video, but nobody wants to get a ride with me... |

Nicolas is helping me a lot, send me some pictures/projects,m e and my mechanic are studing how to do, because it is a big change, clutch, flyweel, mounts, axles, rods, etc... and it will be an experience we don't know nobody who have already done it, so we don't know if the result will be good. |

Too bad you had to get rid of it...1.3 bars on standard internals with stock compression ratio? Who said the rods are weak on the Xu10j4rs?! Impressive car can't wait to get news about your next project Nicolas ________________________________________ 205 gti xu10j4rsms2 extra sequential |
