If they really cared about emissions they should ban cyclists for using the roads, just think how many cars have to slow down only to re-accelerate back up to speed because of them ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Should be getting an uprated friction plate either today or 2moz, then i can spend a few hours a night stripping it down and building it all back up.Will be buying a 6 in for bits on wed, so will be busy for a couple of days stripping that down aswell. ________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |

Pretty shocking they put roadside tests out but I could run my V12 with 3.5 inch dual exhausts with nothing in between legally When are they going to learn taxing shouldn't be all done on emissions but miles traveled /flee |

Well...It went for mapping earlier today, and because ive been flat out with work i never got chance to put my fuel pump and swirl pot on, what with having to put a new loom and gearbox on, so the standard pump just couldnt cope with the demand for so much fuel and was running lean, thus it only making 305bhp. Wayne had to lower the rev limit to 6500rpm to save me blowing the engine up before i go back with a new inline pump that can do the job properly, pity, as rich assured me it would be fine wish i had put the f*cker on now, as ive gota wait untill the 4th of Nov before i can go back and get the 400+bhp i was hoping for today. ________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |

Sorry, but on what basis did I ‘assure’ you it would be fine? I never even done it before, so I’m certainly in no position to ‘assure’ you. It may well do as a temporary solution, and you’re welcome to try it, but don’t blame me when it doesn’t work out. I’ve told you about numerous things during this build which need to be done right, or do it twice – and this is another example of that. The bottom line is your car wasn’t ready for mapping yesterday – which is why Wayne had to f*ck about for several hours yesterday before he could even think about doing his job (the mapping). Do things once and properly, make sure everything is 110%, then take it to Wayne – and I’m sure you’ll get a great result. ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |

The injectors, the ecu and thr TB all needed to be changed aswell as the boost ring to be removed, i asked how i was to go about running the car in and to get to waynes on my old ecu, so you said i should use my old injectors, keep the ring in and get wayne to swop the bits over when it goes for mapping. With the boost ring having to come out, i thought that would be the best time to swop the TB as it was already off to get access to the ring. We also had to raise the car, because it was to low and wouldnt go on the ramp, i wasnt aware this was going to be a problem and that ate into the time we had. Anyway, its done now! I will be back on the 4th with my bosch fuel pump installed and hopefully get the power i want.
