threw some bits i had together today, to make a ducted cold air shroud to channel outside air around the inlet manifold to keep it cool.
after fitting a thermally insulative inlet manifold gasket and seeing my inlet manifold exterior temp drop over 20c. i went down the rabbit hole of intake cooling and fuel cooling. for minimal gains in mpg and power

ended up doing this in one afternoon this weekend. could probably do with a longer shroud pipe. has roughly dropped my inlet manifold exterior temp another 10-15 degrees.
next project is going to be a peltier fuel cooling device
