Hey all,

Looking to get my Rallye back on the road. it's got a dead alternator which is the main reason it's been sitting.

i've had a look around the forum and most of the old links are dead now.
ECP seems to think this one is right: https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/lucas-alternator-401735011

going off an old part number i also found this one on Autodoc:
https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ridex/13643064

Can i buy just buy either of these?
pully size seems to be 56mm which sounds about right.

Does anyone know what size Aux belt i would need?

also anyone know the part number for the tensioner/idler off the top of their head? mines certainly quite old now so I recon it's worth doing while i'm in there! don't think it was making noise last time it ran, but it has been a while.

Is there a guide floating around for the best way to replace it? saw some rumblings about taking the intake off, but some people disagreed with that as the best way?

Cheers,
Alex Big grin
