This self adhesive-heat reflective stuff is stupid money but you can’t buy better and it will stop the stainless Exhaust warming up the ATL alloy Fuel box with tank inside that ...even though the 2.5inch pipe is 3inches Away

Looks a lot better than having the swirl pot on pump mounted inside the car

200% Chris ...much safer and quiet and I would never myself put or have a swirl pot and lift pump under my car ...hot Exhaust if it ever leaked ....my view ...

I’m aware everyone does it though LOL

Nothing update really .....
Had to run a fuel vent from the ATL ANC oneway upside down connection on top of the tank ...it lets the tank fumes out and stops the tank over expanding with pressure ....also if the car went over it stops the fuel escaping ...

Goodridge 611 Teflon fuel hose that I use on fuel lines wasn’t needed so I used Aeroquip x3 Webbed ANC for vapour line ....I’ll buy Torques Teflon lined with ANC fittings if I smell any fuel ...

I went Diectl into drivers side wheel arch where filler cap used to be .....

New battery 2Kgs and 12volt @ 30amp hr and going behind the drivers seat and running quick charge connections to charge it from the boot Thumbs up ...

Fair bit more of weight saving ...

The tanks saved 7kgs total inc all bits added up ....19kgs on two items isn’t bad LOL

That’s a lot of weight saving, how much electrics do you run in your car, my next project after getting the seats in is relocating the battery and I’m not sure on what to buy I was going to use a mx5 battery

Problem Michael is turning over my engine m8 remember it’s a full race engine Will Declaudio has similar with his and had to fit a larger battery than he wanted to Thumbs down .....the compression etc needs a really good battery ...from cold I may need a jump pack with the Lipo battery as it’s no good at long currents only short power amps ...it’s more of a sprinter than middle distance runner LOL

30amp Lipo is good as you can get under £600

What are they ?
Has to be Lipo and not over £350 Chris ...

I’ve had 2-3 Odyssey and Varley lead Acid and even with power isolated they self discharge sadly and are heavy

God knows it all Sandy top secret stuff ...don’t think it’s stupid but it’s fun to start with a normal small amount Odyssey/ Varley race battery when cold ...

This Battery below is available in the UK ...bit more but reviews say nothing comes close ...power to weight Crazy
