Half the carbon splitter is under the car ...plenty to fix to the bumper ....used a roll of Masking tape to give a size ...The lower base of the new bumper sticks out 2 inches already and with the carbon splitter going out another 4 inches on top I think it’s going to do it’s job Day666 has attached the following image: |

David Warren on here (General Lee’s) Carbon Splitter he made me works amazing and even covers like a undertray ...I will be fixing it permanently to my 50plus bumper and the bumper will be easy to remove with x5 bolts hidden ..:I will run 2/4 support pins from the splitter front to the bumper to reduce flex .Look at pictures before ...the splitter only sticks out the width of a roll of Masking tape when the bumper is fitted Looks massive with bumper separate at mo Day666 has attached the following image: |

Received these epoxy two pack structural bond glues .I’m bonding the Kevlar/Carbon wing inside returns that come separate so you can ajust them yourself for the wings to fit better with the doors as well as the bonnet Been told this stuff is up there with the best Structurel bonds For composites money can buy ... Each tube ...25ml £4.25 each ...I think that’s good ...two needed ...two spare PS ...I love (Tiger-seal) but it’s not Structural ...great stuff though Day666 has attached the following image: |

Both plus 50 Carbon / Kevlar wing returns have been bonded on with VM100 in earlier post Its (structural bond) ...that bolt to location just in front of door inside the wing stopping any flex and stones etc as same with standard metal wings ..really great stuff to use about 5mins useable time and 24hrs before full strength Day666 has attached the following image: |

After the VM100 is fully dry (24hrs) ....I’will key the surface again and go over the VM100 with non structural Tiger seal ...This is totally OTT but better to be safe than sorry .... Anyone that’s used Tiger seal knows this is great stuff but messy a little flexible and it stays non structural ....I use similar stuff every day in my job so plenty of disposable gloves Day666 has attached the following image: |

Just noticed that the Maxi type 50 plus bumper is turned up 2 Inch’s from the middle and blends out to the edges....This which you can see in the picture is great for Rallying but I want the bottom of the bumper much lower to the ground.....if I space the splitter lower to the ground it does the same effect .. Air goes the whole way and down Force is created.. I’m going to have to use 2-3 support bars which I have at mo to stop front flex on the carbon fibre splitter at super high speed though Day666 has attached the following image: |

I knew something was making the bumper look short at the front ...now I know it’s the turn up....A 2 inch Kevlar lower lip is available....but it goes straight down and no good for fixing a splitter to .. I’ve got a idea though and I’m going to make my bumper easy removable also at the same time In this picture you can see I’ve spaced only the middle out with 50mm Alloy box section to see how it sits temp.. Remember the cars only used on Track now really Day666 has attached the following image: |

All the maxi's have that curve to the base of the bumper Damien. The rally splitters take up the slack, so their bottom edge is flat. Effectively the splitter is about 30-35mm deep on the sides but about 50-60mm deep in the front section. |

Sadly Iain I need 110mm in the middle m8 to drop the carbon splitter David Warren made me and 50mm at each side to the correct distance from the floor .. This gives me 130mm from the very bottom of the front curve of the splitter to the floor ... Day666 has attached the following image: |
