Whats the issues with T1Rs in the wet?

Mine are awesome? No understeer and still pick a rear wheel up in the rain? (ok speeds are slower but hey, its raining?)

they don't last long, feedback horrible, and haven't as much grip as a decent tyre.

I´d love to go there, but... driving on the left? Steering wheel on the right? I´ll never get used to that! No
Still, i want to go there to see Suarez score a hat trick against Everton! LOL

And, due to the lack of tyre models here, guess i´ll start with the Khumo´s KU31. It´s almost a bargain, read lots of good reviews, it´s an UHP Summer tyre, guess its worth givin it a try. Costs around 30% less than the Toyo´s, and half a PE2 Thumbs up

T1Rs work fine for me to mate. Wear very quickly but grip well wet and dry. Traction is AA rated, you'll only hear get PE2's on this forum so pointless asking. I've just brought myself 2x conti sport contact 2s so will see if they're as good/better than the T1Rs.

Before i post I'm not slating PE2s not everyone can afford them or they don't suit certain people's set ups etc that's all Thumbs up

PE2s in 195/55-15 seem to be NLA now so no real point banging on about them any more.

Agreed with welshpug. I run 50's and tried tons of different tires. PE2's are raved about for good reason. And in a 50 profile font that dear either. Smile
