Does anyone know that this plugs on to ? Or is it for an extra or something ? Its a two pin plug and it shares the same loom as the map sensor. Help ?

It's a butt plug. Look at any of Stans posts and you'll notice in his avatar he's sat on his engine bay enjoying one.

It's a universal loom, some of the connectors are not used on all models.

Nah, nothing to do with the early MAP sensor. This plug is also present on the early looms. It's probably for the oil vapour heater fitted to the cold climate models, or something like that.

If it's giving you that the you should probably turn the engine off before you plug into it...
