I haven't got the VIN on me and need to order it ready to arrive Friday to do over the weekend.They pulled my car up from the Reg which they haven't done with ph2 registration numbers before, so may be able to do it. I am expecting to have to order 2 of each. That's what I had to do with the yellow ones last time. ________________________________________ ![]() |

Blimey, That's a difference. I think one was ~£2ea and the other ~£2.70ea approx.I rang the dealer earlier and they actually have 2175 20 and 2175 21 on the shelf so I can collect this evening. I will ask if they have the others on the shelf. I doubt it, but even if I have to order 2 like I did with yellow ones in the past, still makes it cheaper and presumably they are a better product. it looks to be a seal for the later type bushes, only one is required, I haven't taken apart any later cars than that date so don't know exactly what they look like but it would appear to address the issue in that water gets in and rusts the shaft which accelerates wear and stiffness in the bushes________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

The later bushes in question would appear on cars built after 01.02.2000 according to the guy at the parts desk this afternoon.I paid over the odds for the older ones purely as they were in stock so I only had to buy the 2 I needed rather than a pack of 4. ________________________________________ ![]() |

I'm only going on what he told me Stan. He got a book out which listed all the build codes, and looked at the 'SINCE RPO 08485' date and it was listed as the 1st Feb 2000.You could have replacement bushes, or the info I was given was wrong. I am some what confused on these codes as i dont know even where to begin on service box.I have a w reg gti 6 and will need to do these bushes soon. Do i need the newer ones?? and if so is it just the 2 bushes for the for arm or do i need anything else?? i.e protector seals etc?? If you go in with your VIN, they will tell you which ones you need.Due to the uncertainty of whether they are much of an improvement, I would just use the 'general' white plastic ones. ________________________________________ ![]() |
