Hi everyone,

I'm just letting members know that I'm still available if they're in need of mechanical help on their beloved 6 or Rallye.

I've stopped Diagnostic and Electrical work. But if you need a Cambelt/Water pump change, Clutch change, Cylinder Head refurb - get in contact! I will work out a deal that will suit us both! (No sexual favours implied, given or taken as payment!)

Email or PM please!

Regards,

generally how much do you think you could get done in a day? If i came to you with a nissens rad, a few new pipes and had the cambelt done is it realistic to say I could collect it the day after?

I've got to be honest Eliot, I just won't have the time.

I'm only looking to carry out belt and pump changes. If I take on more work that the car needs I often find myself working late into the night and my other interests begin to suffer for it.

I believe I am helping people on the forum by offering a belt change at a very good price. It's all I can do at this moment in time. I apologise mate.

No problem mate Smile
I will 100% be getting a cambelt off you anyway. Just need to sort my suspension first but im sure I'll let you know soon, Belts on 22k at the mo but i'd rather get it done about 25k so I can start thinking about sorting my crank seal out. Other wise im going to be spanked with a big bill all at once

I thought I'd send this back to the top as I've changed my prices.

You all know what to do if you need a cambelt change...

If I were you I wouldn't offer the other other non OEM service, just the Genuine one which you have more confidence in.

I know you see it as appealing to more people as its a cheaper option for them, but if you don't have faith in certain products, don't supply them at any price IMO.

Especially when the difference in price is so little, it's not worth the bad press if anything failed.

You need to live for the 306. As you don't why are you offering living for the 306 services? Crazy

That makes complete sense Dan, so I've taken your advice. Genuine parts only from now on.

Had my cambelt and pump changed by Deepak last week.

Well pleased, very professional service and he was very polite about the state of the rest of the car.

Would definitely recommend to anyone Thumbs up

Since a full trouble free year of motoring thanks to the last time Deepak worked on my car(full service) around this time last year(May 2011), had my cambelt and water pump changed by him over this last weekend along with a fresh MOT(passed with flying colours)!

Dropped the car at 1000 and got a text @ 1550 on the same day to say it's all done including the MOT. Cool

See you in 2013 for the next MOT! Thumbs up

Just picked my car up after leaving it with Deepak for a while for him to sort my life out :p
Its a hell of a lot better thats for sure! I didnt even drive on any open roads really on the way back (centre of london is a bit of a bore) but even so I noticed that after a bit of a head refresh and new cambelt and nissens radiator, you can really tell it sounds a lot healthier, the cooling issues have gone and the it seems to be a much smoother drive lower down the powerband.
All in all money very well spent and his communication was second to none, keeping you up to date with everything quite regularly and any issues that arise.
    So another happy customer Smile

Thanks for the positive feedback Eliot, I enjoyed working on your car, I haven't done work like that in a long time! I hope your supercharger plans work out!

NOTE: I've updated my prices to include cylider head gasket replacements.

Had clutch cable, gearbox oil & new linkage done by Deepak - changing gear is so much more satisfying!

Had a footwell flooding problem which Deepak sorted with some nifty fix - bone dry after the recent heavy downpour - brilliant!

If you're in/around London and you need anything sorting on your 6/rallye then Deepak's your man!
