Got the dash out of the wallye last mute to do the matrix. Thinking about flocking it, but have hear stories of it only lasting 1-2 Years and it shitting needles everywhere. So not sure. Price is another thing too. Any feedback welcome. |

+1 to flock. As long as it's done properly it should last pretty much forever. Mine was flocked about two or three years ago, and it gets mercilessly abused. Been in and out of the car countless times, scraped about, left in the garage and still looks good as new. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

One other thing I would say - think carefully about which bits you get flocked. When mine was done they did all the bits - the little panels where the dashboard dimmers are, bits like that. It actually looks a bit crap where one flocked panel joins another, I found it looked much better and more professional getting the main dash flocked and possibly the glove boxes, but leaving the rest as is. Looks like you're trying to hide them otherwise, flocked edges aren't particularly neat. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Anyone know how much just the dash and boxes Would cost to get professionally done? Was looking into doing it myself, but would rather leave it than do a shot job Tbh. |

i've flocked loads of my own bits but it's hard work to get really tidy. i'd rather give it someone. someone in cheshire called 'flock it' did mine i think properly. was a good job and cost about £70________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Just because it's covered in plastic swarf and has been thrown in the corner of the garage doesn't mean it's not still beautifully flocked! ![]() ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Banbury flocking services in Banbury are excellent. She has worked on Wrc cars. My rally car dash is perfect. She works in a clean room with proper kit. ________________________________________ 205 rally car with 2.2 hybrid 6 engine: phase 2 engine build underway. |

The Flock Shop did my dash in the Mazda, very reasonable price and quick turnaround. Witheld one item because he wasn't satisfied with the finish and he re-covered it and sent it to me at a later date.________________________________________ '99 1.8 XS - Sold'00 GTi6 - Killed by armco '01 Cabriolet 1.8 - Sold '96 Eunos Roadster 1.8 Import |
