are they the same as any other brembo's?is there a someone who makes a kit for these? ________________________________________ Do you need a 205 > 306 gti6 plug and go engine loom? They are the same family as the 406 Coupe/Alfa GTV/Fiat Coupe.But the mounting lugs are different to the 406 ones, more like the Alfas iirc so you may have trouble making them fit. ________________________________________ Bang'in 7 gram rocks!I have one gear, GO! |

The ST170 discs wouldnt have a better vane design i dont think  Im not sure on the science behind it but you will need to be getting very serious about your brake setup to start taking vane design into consideration, if your at that point then it might be best to look at new setups from the big players like AP.________________________________________ Just Drive It |

The vane design wasn't in question, it was the vane interaction with the 306.velar wrote: I would avoid the 406 305mm discs. I ran them on a few 406 track coupes(inc an ex btcc shell) and they overheat within a few laps( common on the 406 when tracked). I replaced them with Focus RS discs and the overheating issue went away. I think that due to the low offset, the root of the cooling vains are restricted(only about 5mm gap) and this prevents decent airflow through the discs.  The offset is also wrong for the 306 hub. I see, that might be the case on track but it could have possibly been cheap discs or something like that too. Im pretty sure the RS discs cannot be fitted to the 306, the V6 offset is by no means perfect but it can be fitted ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

RS discs hit the balljoint, i'm sure it was lotek did the checks. The Focus RS disc is 52.7mm tall and 28mm thick.The Focus ST 170 is 44.5mm tall and 24mm thick. By comparison the GTI-6 disc is 27.2mm tall and 22mm thick. ________________________________________ Bang'in 7 gram rocks!I have one gear, GO! |

These can be made to fit a 306 by using a 20mm or 25mm spacer inside the Focus RS disc, and then running Ford ET 32 or ET 38 wheels ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |
