As a side note, this was the first dealer I've been to where someone knew what a rallye was.

I went to my local peugeot\citroen dealer to get an oil filter. However I was given a 1109.T1 which doesn't seem to match any of the part numbers on here (N2,t0,AL). The receipt does say 1109AL though, is this just a citroen equivalent of the known part numbers? As a side note, this was the first dealer I've been to where someone knew what a rallye was. |

It is a Citroen number, AL is the part that has superseeded T1, though if he sold you a T1 from stock it should say T1 on the receipt as the price is different, AL is £8.91, T1 is £9.10 ![]() The AL + T1 is listed for the DW8 and DW10 diesels, not the XU10's, doubt it'd make any difference though. 1109 N3 is the Citroen part number for the XU filter (and many TU engines, and the XUD) £7.61 ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Thanks. Any ideas what the differences are between one for a diesel (AL/T1) and the proper one for the XUs (N3)? Is the N3 the citroen version of the peugeot N2 which I believe is now superseded? How can part numbers for oil filters be so complicated :S |

N3 is Citroen N2 (£7.71) is Peugeot indeed, N2 has been superseeded by AP (£8.40)depending on the ages, some filters are long life for extended service intervals, but I don't know which is which, except that I guess the more expensive ones must be the long life ones. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I think i will keep on changing the n2's i have mid service then, as they only work out at 4quid with the VAT. |
