Personally I prefer the 136 kit as it's a metal tensioner and less prone to fail, the choice is yours as they say.Carl ________________________________________ C.G.Cars of Leicester, Peugeot/Citroen/Renault specialist Tel: 01162 624498/07799 405184 WWW.CGCARSLEICESTER.CO.UK36 narborough road south, Leicester LE3 2fn MOT station now open, tests £35 with a free retest. Yeah, go with the 136 tooth belt and associated components ![]() The 137 does have some advantages - it's easier to to tension correctly if you've not done it much before - and the tensior is bigger in diameter, and therefore spinning at less RPM, so will last longer. However the 136 tooth kit has a metal tensioner, not plastic, and is much more durable. I mainly use them as most of the engines I build are far from standard, rev much higher etc - I just feel more comfortable with something metal than plastic in this situation. ![]() ________________________________________ Contact Details:rich@lynxpowerengineering.co.uk 07732 822546 |
