i used that scratch x and found it prety useless to be honest on a lquered finish. might be ok for non laquered paint but scratch and swirl remover does the job ok with an orbtal polisher better. tcut is like applying fine grit sandpaper to your bodywork and serves no purpose in modern paint finishes. always found mer to be good on white paint for removing light scratches but someone will probably tell me that it is abrasive . brings my van up a treat but the car i use meguires or chemical guys stuff

deswirl it before you put the sealant on though else it will seal your swirls and scratches in for good

Where can you get this sealant from, iv looked hard in halfords with no joy. I have now got the clay pack from maguire's £24 and a bottle scratch X and then going to use auto glym polish and gloss, surely this will be enough to keep it fresh for longer?
Also is it best to use scratch X after claying the car or before?

Cheers

clay first scratch x second. Sealent ii doubt you will find at halfrauds. (as good as halfords is).

i got mine from cleanyourcar.co.uk. look under sealent and there are loads to choose form. Basically they are a tough synthetic mix that seals in your hard work. Better on track than a wax too as it is a harder compound.

you can do it that way that order is fine, dont quote me on this but i gess the gloss will make it a much deeper shine. Thats a lot of arm busting work too. lol About a days work??
